Experience the free life in Christ
You may be wondering what we mean by the “Free Life,” and how you can experience that type of life for yourself. Jesus said in Luke 4: 18, 19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” This simply means that whatever has you “imprisoned” Jesus has come to set you free, and to give you a new life in Him.

The bible tells us that all of us have sinned and we have all come up short to the Glory of God. But, it also tells us that; “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10: 8-10). The Apostle Paul says in 2 Cor. 5: 17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.” Jesus said it this way; you are “born-again.” Another words you are FREE! Free from your sin, free from your past, free from your sickness, free from lack, free from everything that belongs to the old life you had.

If this sounds like the life you would like to have, Jesus desires for you to have it. The only place you can experience this life is in Him. So, the first step is to do just as the Apostle Paul told us to do, confess and believe that Jesus is Lord of our life. Won’t you join me right now in praying this simple prayer? In doing so, I know you will experience this Free Life that I have been talking to you about.

Dear Heavenly Father…
• I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your Word says, “…him that comes to me I will in no way cast out” (John 6: 37).
• So I know you won’t cast me out, but you take me in,
• And I thank you for it.
• You said in your Word, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10: 13).
• I am calling on your name, so I know you have saved me and set me free.
• You also said, “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.
• For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom. 10: 9-10).
• I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
• I believe that He was raised from the dead for my justification.
• And I confess Him now as my Lord.
• I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Cor. 5: 21).
• And I am saved and set free! Thank you, Lord!
